On Wednesday, October 1, we invite you to an unforgettable winemaker’s dinner at Insieme Ristorante Italiano in Amsterdam. Awarded the best Italian restaurant in the Netherlands in 2023, Insieme is the perfect setting for an evening where refined Italian cuisine meets extraordinary wines.
The evening is dedicated to Tenuta Carretta, a historic Piedmont winery with more than 555 years of history. Since 1467, high quality wines such as Alta Langa, Roero Arneis, Langhe Riesling, Barolo, Barbaresco and Nizza have been made here. Today, Tenuta Carretta is among the most respected domains in the region, with a reputation that extends far beyond the Italian borders.
The winery has received several high ratings from international critics over the years. Consider multiple impressive ratings from James Suckling and the gold medal from Decanter for their iconic Barolo Cannubi 2020. These accolades underscore Tenuta Carretta’s commitment to quality, terroir and elegance.
During this evening, Insieme will serve a five-course menu – from sophisticated bites and appetizers to pasta, main course, pre-dessert and dessert – with each course carefully paired with a wine from Tenuta Carretta. Enzo Agresta, of Tenuta Carretta, will be present himself to share the stories behind the wines and explain how centuries-old traditions come together with contemporary expression.
