Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

 89,95

Col di Lamo’s Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2016 is produced only in the very best years and exclusively with Sangiovese grapes (100%). The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level on sandy soils with a northeast exposure. The vines are grown according to the Guyot system. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified using indigenous yeasts. The wine rests for more than 36 months in large barrels and depending on the vintage, also in French oak tonneaux, before aging in bottle for more than a year. This wine is a true rarity, as only 2,000 bottles are produced each year.

The color is almost impenetrable ruby red with orange edges. On the nose, the wine offers an intense, fruity aroma with pleasant mineral and balsamic hints. On the palate, the wine is powerful, full-bodied and pleasantly tannic. The finish is intense and persistent.

Serving temperature: 16-18° C
