Chianti Riserva Castello del Tegolato

Chianti Riserva

The grapes are picked by hand as soon as they are perfectly ripe. This is followed by a slow fermentation with skin contact, which gives the wine depth and structure. The wine is then aged for three years in oak barrels, during which it is regularly crossed over to settle and develop fully.

A ruby red wine that leans toward garnet. The bouquet is intense and ripe, with elegant notes of raspberry and a slight earthy undertone. On the palate it is full, warm and refined, with a soft but present structure.

Serving temperature: 18°C

Castello del Tegolato

Castello del Tegolato is one of the most historic wineries in the Chianti region of Tuscany. They have become famous for their “Tegolato” wines, these wines are aged on the roof tiles (Tegolato) of the castle throughout the year by weather. In recent years, these Tegolato wines were no longer made. But recently Anthony (owner) and Devinita’s good friend and oenologist Andrea Pizzolato decided to revive this project. Therefore, these wines are again available exclusively at Devinita.
