Cayega represents the present and future of Tenuta Carretta: a wine that is balanced and complex, with a firm structure and a long finish. It is perfect for any occasion and offers a wonderful interpretation of the potential of the symbolic variety of this area.

The grapes for Cayega are picked by hand. Gentle pressing in a pneumatic press and cold maceration for 24 hours at a temperature of 10°C follow. Fermentation takes place at low temperature (18-20°C) and refinement takes about 6 months in stainless steel tanks, with the wine remaining on the fine lees to increase aromatic complexity and fullness on the palate. Refinement is then completed in the bottle.

The Roero Arneis Cayega presents itself with a golden yellow color accompanied by green reflections.

In the nose, aromas of pear, peach and flint emerge.

On the pallet, the wine shows balance and complexity, with a firm structure and a long finish, with citrusy notes coming to the fore.

Serving temperature: 8-10° C
