Rosso di Montalcino

 25,95

Col di Lamo’s Rosso di Montalcino comes from the Colombaio vineyard, located on clayey soils with a rich skeleton, at an average altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. Here, Col di Lamo employs the Guyot vine training system. The blend consists of 100% Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified through long maceration on the skins and frequent pumping over at a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Selected indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation from the same grapes harvested just a few days earlier. The wine matures for a year in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by about 3 months of refinement in bottle.

This Rosso di Montalcino exhibits an intense and bright ruby color with purple hues.

The aroma is full and persistent, with notes of fresh fruit.

On the palate, the wine is fresh and harmonious, with good structure and interesting tannins.

Serving temperature: 16-18° C
