Berto & Fiorella

About the winery

Berto & Fiorella is a Friuli-Latisana DOC family business, founded in 1966 by Umberto and his wife Fiorella when they moved from Veneto to Precenicco. Their vision and enthusiasm formed the foundation of a winery today run by three generations with roots in tradition as well as an eye to the future.

Latisana

Philosophy

The company cultivates approximately 38 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Latisana DOC, characterised by sandy and clay soils on the Adriatic coast. Viticulture is carried out manually, with minimal chemical intervention, under the SQNPI label for sustainable agriculture. Wine production is carried out with respect for classic and modern methods: gentle pressing of grapes, controlled fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks, and ageing in stainless steel or wood, depending on the type of wine.
