Vineka is a contemporary winery in Valle d’Itria (Puglia), founded with an appreciation for Puglia’s rich cultural and natural heritage. They make contemporary wines while remaining true to traditional grape varieties, terroir and craft.

Origin

Philosophy

Guglielmo Zito, born in Martina Franca, started Vineka in 2016 with a clear mission: to make wines that convey the authentic identity of Salento and the Valle d'Itria. After years as an export manager in London, he returned to his native land, where he oversees every aspect of the production process himself. The vision: to combine regional grape varieties and quality through small-scale, artisanal vinification.

Tenuta Moraia

Tenuta Moraia is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, near the historic village of Gavorrano. The estate covers 160 hectares, of which 60 hectares are organically cultivated. Surrounded by rolling hills and Mediterranean vegetation, the winery focuses on crafting contemporary, vibrant wines that express the authentic character of their homeland. Respect for nature and careful vineyard management lie at the core of the estate’s philosophy.

Bastioni della Rocca

Bastioni della Rocca was inspired by the golden era of Frederick II of Swabia, when southern Italy grew into a cultural and commercial center of the Mediterranean. The imposing castles that still dominate the landscape today symbolize a time when winemaking became a driving force of the local economy. The winery pays homage to this historical splendor, with wines deeply rooted in the identity of the South.
